New Smart Triage Questions

From 14 October, when you submit a medical request online through Mayfield Surgery's Patient Triage service, you may be asked some additional Smart Triage Questions.

These are short follow-up questions generated using artificial intelligence (AI), based on the information you have entered. They are designed to help gather useful information for our clinical team before your request is reviewed.

You may be asked up to five additional questions. These questions are optional and you can skip them and continue to submit your request.

The AI does not make a diagnosis, decide what treatment you need or replace our clinical team. Your request and any answers you provide are reviewed as part of our normal triage process.
