How to Order a Repeat Prescription
If you need certain medications on a regular basis, you do not always need to see a doctor for a repeat prescription.
You can request a repeat prescription in various ways:
- Via the NHS App
- Via AccuRx
- Ask your pharmacist to request it on your behalf
- By marking what you need on the right hand side of your printed prescription.
From time to time you will be asked to come in and see the doctor for a review of your treatment before the prescription is issued.
We regret we cannot accept requests over the telephone. This is to minimise the risk of error and to keep the telephone lines free for urgent calls.
Please note that we require 2 complete working days notice for repeat prescriptions. Almost all prescriptions are now sent electronically to your chosen pharmacy.
