CQC are an independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and we encourage care services to improve.

We recieved an overall rating of Good - thank you to all of the staff at Mayfield who work so hard to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

We did recieve advice on a couple of points as you can read in the report below. We have now put measures in place for us to monitor the following:

  1. Prescription paper is now taken out of every printer and locked away at night.
  2. Prescription paper is now logged by serial numbers and which member of staff takes them (for audit purposes)
  3. Our emergency bag is now locked away at night and checked on a monthly basis.
  4. Our HCA is now making sure she has a PSD for every injection given.
